Karnataka Tourism Showcases Diverse Experiences at ATM Dubai 2026

Karnataka Tourism Showcase Karnataka Tourism showcased its rich tourism offerings at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai 2026. The state positioned itself as a compelling destination for Middle Eastern and global travellers during the four-day event from 14th to 17th September 2026.

Tourism Highlights and Focus Areas The pavilion promoted heritage, culture, Ayurveda, wellness, wildlife, nature, spiritual tourism, adventure, cuisine, beaches, and modern cities.

Inauguration Ceremony

Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Consulate General of India in Dubai, formally inaugurated the stand. Senior government officials and tourism representatives attended the event.

Delegation Leadership

Sri. Kelachandra Joseph George, Hon’ble Minister for Energy and Tourism, led the delegation. Other key delegation members included:

Tourism Highlights and Focus Areas

Industry Stakeholder Participation

Travel agents, tour operators, and hoteliers joined the team at the stand. They interacted directly with international buyers to build B2B partnerships and promote holiday packages.

Diverse Destination Offerings

Karnataka blends history, nature, wellness, and vibrant city life into one destination. Participation at ATM Dubai strengthened engagement with the Middle Eastern travel trade. The event showcased Karnataka’s potential to operators, agents, media, and stakeholders.

Heritage and Living Traditions

The stand highlighted iconic monuments in Hampi, Pattadakal, Hoysala temples, and Mysuru. Handicrafts, festivals, and local cuisine added to the cultural proposition.

Ayurveda and Holistic Wellness

The team emphasized Ayurveda and traditional wellness practices. The state offers natural surroundings for holistic healing, rejuvenation, and longer stays.

Wildlife and Adventure Tourism

The team prominently showcased wildlife reserves in Kabini, Bandipur, Nagarhole, Dandeli, and the Western Ghats. Nature travellers explored safaris, birdwatching, trekking, river experiences, and eco-tourism.

Business Expansion and Future Outlook

Participation enabled destination promotion, trade links, and increased tourist arrivals from the UAE. Karnataka positions itself where heritage meets nature, wellness meets rejuvenation, and tradition meets modern experiences.
